One of my co-workers showed me his old Myspace profile and I showed him mine. Had some good laughs. I have some songs I produced uploaded there quite a few years ago. Decided to share them here.
I loved making this song. These are some of the first vocals I recorded. This was recorded in Provo, Utah in 2008. When I wasn’t on tour and my bad, Love You Long Time, was, MC Oz would play this while the band was setting up. I remember feeling so proud when he came up to me and said, “Dude! This song is so dope! I play it before every show now.”
Made this one in 2009. I still love it. This is about the time when Justice came out, so I was into heavier beats with a duck. This is one of those songs I made that still speaks to my soul for producing music. It’s almost a lost art to me now. 5 years ago I would spend 4+ hours per day making music–never tired of it.
I loved making this song and it has some cool things happening. This is a raw cut recorded by MC Oz of Love You Long Time recorded in his rental in Rexburg, Idaho.
This snippet has some pretty cool sounds I made myself with…I forget which VST, but I loved it at the time. I could crank out some dope sounds twisting knobs and adding filters and fx.
Here is the first vocal recording of I Had U Wrong, circa 2006.
Butterscotch Lollipops – still on of my favorite beats and cuts. You can hear me on the backup vocals in the chorus.
My friend Jacob Rosen played a little guitar for me that I cut up and made this slow jam inProvo, UT 2008.
This is another cut where I asked Jacob Rosen to play me some guitar. This is one of my slow jams that still speaks to my soul. Love Rhodes pianos. So smooth and full of feeling.
And an extra one for good measure 🙂
If you liked my songs, please comment below. It’ll help motivate me to get back into it again.
